If there was ever an indicator of just how unloved Mike Erickson is, it’s the fact that Erickson could only rustle up $31K in campaign contributions this quarter (he made up for the rest of his expenses with his own checkbook). Of course, this scathing non-endorsement of Erickson from The Oregonian is also a pretty good indicator, too.
Hooley never won this district by more than 10-12% IIRC. Of course, she never had this favorable a wind and this district always had a slight R registration edge (it was won by Bush twice actually) and now has a good-sized D one..
My party doesnt need the likes of someone like Mike Erickson in the House! It makes me sick whenever I see his TV ads.
primary for the GOP. The allegations came out too close to election day for Erickson to lose. Good for us, bad for them.
